You can probably do better elsewhere. To me the best value is easily Perrier Jouet. It is a shade under DP, and I doubt you can even tell the difference.
Krug, rated equal or better than Cristal I have not seen in the DR.
It would probably cost about the same as a Dominican house in the Campo if they had it, maybe more.
