Cheapest way to get to cabarete from Santa Domingo airport?

Approx. $180 US to the door by taxi, 3 1/2 hours.
Taxi to Santo Domingo Caribe Tours bus depot for 20 to 30 bux (30 minutes), bus to Sosua for less than 10 bux each (4 1/2 to 5 hours, plus waiting time), public transport the rest of the way to Cabarete for a few bucks (15 minutes) or a taxi for 20 bux (10 minutes).
