Thought someone posted this week in an other thread :"reinvented themselves" but can't seem to find the posting right now. Purpose of my post is: I am reading the Junot Diaz book now and there is a quote on page 123 that knocks me out:


"what straight middle-aged brother has not attempted to regenerate himself through the alchemy of young pussy."

Is this classic DR or not?

And I don't know what reinventing oneself has to do with the quote above about regenerating oneself, other than both words starting with "re".
