Why does the title of your stupid post have to be "why don't....."?
I had to click it to read this stupid question. If you had simply put the coconut in the title, I would have saved my click.
I hate threads where the title says nothing ex: why don't......,
see if you can.....
I would like to know......
how can you.....
here is a question.....
have you heard......
etc etc.

Your thread could have had a heading:
why don't Dominicans cook with coconut?
This way, many people like myself would stay away from this, waste of bandwidth, thread.

Pan de coco, Moro de guandules con coco, pescado con coco, cangrejo con coco, camarones con coco, and more than a few sweets. Have a look on the Dominican Cooking site if you don't believe me. :)

Now my mouth is watering and it isn't even 11am...

Curiosity killed the cat...;)

As a matter of fact...soki did the right thing...bait the reader...that's what good journalists do to attract more people...haven't you ever read the title to what you thought was gonna be a great story on a magazine or newspaper, only to be dissapointed by the actual article?

Come on...lighten up...it's FRIDAY!!!! :):):)

Why do people ask questions before doing a 'search'? ;)

My mother in law taught me how to make the best pescado con coco I'd ever tasted...and it's soooo easy!!!!

I got to try the 'moro de guandules con coco' from Aunt Clara's...let's see how it goes!!!

Thanks, Chiri!!! :)

I would like to climb a coconut tree.:cheeky:

even though AZB is a bit harsh I agree about the titles...they should give people a hint of what the thread is gonna be about.

I loooved Pina Colada which includes in the recipe cream of coconut. mmmmmm

OK, I changed the thread header so all should be happy now!
