Hi!

Wondering how to get a job in the Dominican? I would like to work in Cabarete or Sosoa at a hotel or restaurant but everything is interested. If you have any information who I should talk to or turn to please contact me.

With your name and english spelling, one could almost believe
you to be scandinavian. So am I. Check the classifieds of
DR1, and other dominican websites. (www.dominicana.com for
instance). <A HREF="http://www.listin.com.do">www.listin.com.do</A> (newspaper), <A HREF="http://www.hoy.com.do">www.hoy.com.do</A>
etc. As I stated in MANY postings on this board, You'd be
better off starting in a non-tourist place, and maybe move
to Cabarete or Sousa once you 'got the hang' of life here!

You'll easily be 'eaten alive' at a tourist resort, and, in
the end, get a very negative (and false!) picture of the
country!

Feel free to e-mail me (in swedish if you like) for any
questions. I've lived here in DR for almost two years, which
is not much, but I gained some knowledge at least...

At present, we have staff fluent in English, French, Italian, German, Dutch and of course Spanish. If you can add to this, I "might" be able to offer you something. (Sports Bar in Sosua)If you speak Spanish plus one other language NOT mentioned above, e-mail your resume. (NO PROMISES IMPLIED)Good Luck
