Fri 3 PM landed to POP, stormed through the airport, hugged and kissed novia, bribed the Avis lady for a great upgrade, 5 min to Sosua, shower, 40 min drive to Navarette, kissed aguela, great dinner with the family, checked in at a place called Palace something few miles from Navarette ( GREAT PLACE !!! )
Sat 7 AM leave "Palace" 10.30 arrive ( well, more like 10.45 arrive Plaza Real in JD ( dissapointed by the room judging from the pictures that they have on their web site ) , have a campeone breakfast, than hanged around...Sad place JD ( no offence to anyone ), nothing happening ( never been there only for dinners to Aura while in SD ), even the Presidente wasn't welcomed...8.30 PM...dinner on "cama" at Aura's...novia was like a kid on Santa's lap when she got in...BEST food in DR, BEST service in DR, BEST everything ...got to talk to the owner...he seemed proud of the fact that he doesn't advertise ( NEVER ).
Sun 4 AM - heading back to Sosua ( yes , only went there for the romantic dinner ) , got lost in SD ( surprise surprise ) , paid 400 pesos a AMET guy to get in ( I know what you're thinking but I approched him ) and get me to the DR1... stopped in Navarette at aguela for coffee at 7.30...back at Perla de Sosua ( great place, great host DonHansi ) by 9.30...rain, sun, rain...on and off, yet most of the day on the beach. Dinner at Bologna.
Mon 9 AM Beach , 1 PM pack up, 1.44 PM POP
I have visited 12% of the earth, yet Sosua is the best place ( for me )...
