Tricom Cell Card

Hello,
how can I get a Tricom CellCard, as we arrive with air plane
directly at the Air port of Punta Cana. Are there any shops around in Punta Cana where to buy this card or is it possible to get it in a resort of Punta Cana? Many thanks for your help.

I have been told that the Cellcard is no longer available from Tricom and I haven't seen them for sale for at least 6 months. I don't know where you can get them in that area but I have two cel phones activated with Tricom and cards (at least up to three weeks ago)are/were available everywhere on the North Coast.

The Tricom Amiga is available, which works only with Tricom activated cellular phones. The Cellcard uses to be available and was for use with non-activated analog-capable cellular phones. It is no longer available. This is both my observation and what Tricom tells me.

Jim's right, the Tricom cell card is history

Codotel seems to be the only way to go for non-activated outgoing calling.
