This Thread Should Be In The "Clown Bin"," But "What The Hell!"

The DR "Ministry Of Education", (OXYMORON???) says that the 8th. Annual "Hispanic American" Spelling Bee will be held Thursday in Santo Domingo.
Now my question is, "Where will they get the "Judges"???????????
No One In The DR Can "SPELL"!!!!

Even worse, spelling in Spanish is childish!! What you have to know is the "c" and "S" words, know where the "z"s go, understand the "LL" and "Y" words and what else is there?

Nothing like "ghoti" = pronounced "fish" in Spanish....

The educational curriculum goes through all that systematically, I see from my second-grader's schoolbooks, but so many people, even 'educated' ones, get it wrong.

Why would it matter where they get the judges...just offer free beer...someone is going to win and a good time will be had by all...
