Hotel Alegria - Cabarete

We will be staying at the Hotel Alegria for 5 nights (Christmas through New Year's). Does anyone have any information about the hotel? Most of what I have found on the internet has been positive, but I'd love to hear any additional insight anyone has! Thanks!

Don't know much about the rooms, but the place looks cute and clean and is a 30 second walk to the beach. We ate the onsite rest. this weekend and the food was very good and very reasonable.

i was looking at staying there but wanted a place with a pool and they dont have one. That seemed to be the only downside
