Figure two gallons per normal sized room. Price of paint will vary depending on the brand and the store that sells them.

Can't tell you specifically where near La Union, go towards Sosua and look for a paint sign.

I got good quality semi gloss pain - gallon 520 RD. Hope that helps you! Price is in a small store in Puerto Plata right across from the Metro bus station.

You MUST Pay 500 Pesos a Gallon For Paint!

Anything less will start peeling off one side of the room before you finish painting the opposite side!

Painting a wall is like "Making Love To a Virgin"!!!
PREPARATION" is EVERYTHING!!!

Dominicans don't "DO" prep work! So even good quality paint will not last!
Walls have to be scrapped, sanded,"spackled"sanded again, sealed, and then given two coats of quality paint!
If you are not going to follow these steps, then just buy "King" Economico, since it will all peal within a few months anyway!
PS;,if the roof is leaking,"Filtraciones" why paint, unless you are going to "seaL" the roof first??
