I am not sure about Cabarete for sure but do know that within a short distance there are many churches in the Sosua area you might like.
Are you wanting an English speaking church?

All of the churches along the North Coast are "good Christian churches"..
Now, if there is a certain denomination you would prefer, that is another thing.

However, you can rest assured that there are enough churches to make your Christmas holiday restful and peaceful...

New Life Church - Sosua

New Life Church is a non-denominational, English-speaking Christian church that meets on the campus of Colegio Nueva Vida in Sosua. We meet at 10:30 Sunday mornings. Colegio Nueva Vida is located on Mulata Road. If you take the main Road from Cabarete to Sosua, Mulata Road is the left across from Sosua Car Wash. Colegio Nueva Vida is located on the corner of the first intersection you come to on Mulata.

There are churches in La Cienega, de la Loma, Islabon, Sabaneta and a small one in Cabarete, the others are in areas just outside Cabarete
