I read that in Canada, hard plastic bottles containing Bisphenol A are being pulled from the shelves of various shops and supermarkets.

Bisphenol A is considered cancer causing

Does anyone know whether the large refillable water bottles used all over the DR contains this chemical?

I for one will drink more San Pellegrino....the bottles are glass!!

It's NOT What The "Water Bottle" Is Made Of That Matters In The DR!!!

It's what's in the WATER!
Many people "dilute" ;) themselves into thinking that any "Bottled Water" is free of bacteria, virus',and OTHER contamination. "GOOD LUCK!"
Every year-or-so,the "government" does a "TEST" of various "Bottled Waters" bottled here in the DR. MANY fail!!
I only drink "Bottled Water" because if someone in my family gets "sick",everyone will blame the "Water",and therefore ME, for the "sickness!
But then, you never know where MY mouth has been :cheeky:eek:r MAYBE you do???

The actual chemical of concern is bisphenol-A found in trace amounts in personal sized polycarbonate water bottles. Unless the water bottles in use in the DR are made of polycarbonate, this should not be a cincern.
