Has anyone used , or can anyone recommend a shop/person in Santiago for Printer repair (Brother all in One) or Home surround sound equipment. Did a search with no results.

Printer Fixed Thanks AZB

AZB,
The shop you recommended looks like an explosion just incurred inside but the staff was friendly/competent and fixed printer in 1 day. Replaced a sensor for 450 DR:classic:. Can't beat that price. Thanks again for the recommendation and I will use them again when issues come up.

yes, these guys get a lot of subcontracting work from major computer stores in santiago. Then many people became smart and now lots of people go to them directly.

Hmmmm.... Brother All-in-one you say...
Take the USB cable off, unplug the power cable and take it to the nearest garbage can and dump it there...
Brother made their printers All-in-one when it comes to repairs, I owned one which's printer head decided to quit out of the blue. Save the money and time, go buy yourself a new printer (anything but Brother).

2ND Brother

This is my 2nd Brother. First lasted 2 yr+ for SCAN, Copy, Fax and Print which I use a lot. When it stopped I trashed it because orig price $85 not worth repairing. This one has 4 print cartridges and does a good job "for my needs". When it stopped after a year I gave it a shot to see if it was something cheap to repair and it was (450P). I will run it until it drops then get another throw away.

I paid $150 US for my All-in-One, later the head went south and Brother offered the replacement part at $214.00 US!!!! I made a pause and the rep knew not to even peep for that moment or I was going to go off and never shut my mouth on the phone...

Turns out, Brother still overcharges for replacement parts and the printers have an operational life of no more than 14 to 24 months at best...

I have an HP and a Cannon for so long that they could be sitting at the museum as relics but still 100% operational...

Brother should stick to manufacturing the label makers and nothing close to All-in-Ones for that matter...

It really feels like you just got held-up!!!
