We have added the "latest uploaded photos" feature to the media gallery.

Main Index - DR1 Media Gallery

We have over 1,200 photos and to date they have been viewed over 1.5 million times.

The media gallery is looking real good these days, thanks to Hlywud.
He's the man that looks after it and keeps it up to date. Good job!

Yes....Upload.

Before we were able to upload a few at a time....Now just one at a time and it takes forever to upload it....And no, my computer is not slow.

Robert, I have changed the upload settings so that members can now upload 6 photo's rather than 1, this will help the situation that Miguel speaks about.

Now if people would open their own albums, as some do that would be great. I can copy pics from one album to the other for instance to update Mugshots and place interesting pics in the Members Gallery.

The use of "stock photos"

Robert-can one use the " stock photos" in web sites or advertising materials
pertaining to Latina life?
If so, does attribution need to be given?

OK -as in "some of the photos used in the creation of this site provided by DR1?" or-something to that effect? Do you have a credit line you would be happy with?

I have hi-res versions of most of the stock photos if you need them.

The text is fine. Just change DR1 to dr1.com

Okay, Wud, I just uploaded mine and it says "pending approval" - gosh, I hope that my ugly mug will be approved by someone other than my hubby!! LOL

It was interesting to see some faces that no longer post often - kind of like "old home week"!

When I ran the Media gallery on my own site before Robert installed it on DR1 we had people upload porn trash, we will not have this happen on DR1
Either Robert or I approve the photo's we both check the system every day, you get an email or message telling you they were approved.

Your lovely mug was approved by me and I didnt need your hubby's permission.
