There's a song that's popular right now in the DR and I thought I came home w/it on CD, but I didn't. They're playing it a bunch in the discos at the moment. I don't know any lyrics. The most notable thing about it is that it changes speed substantially and starts & stops. It sounds like someone is saying "Round 1" "Round 2" in it perhaps. But it sounds like an electronic bull sort of- in how it starts off slow and then accelerates. Or like people having sex...

Anyhoo. I'm fairly sure it's a distinct song from "La Maraca", though I've heard them played together.

Sorry for the vague description, but does anyone know the song/musician I'm talking about? Thanks.

Also, any online radios or top 10 lists f/DR music recommended for me to figure out this stuff on my own and keep up? I had a couple of good sites a while back, but I've misplaced them.

Yeah, it's not "La Maraca", I'd already looked at that video, thanks. And thanks for the plethora of links, though I'm not sure- someone had a top 10 list a while back that really helped me when looking for popular songs.

It's the same song as the one posted earlier, just a different remix. The version you like is by Los Vatos Locos (not sure if they are Mexican or not) the other one is by SR Jucafri.
