I am in need of a second ip protocol address for my computer. I have DSL flash with Codetel. My current ip address is:

IP-10.0.0.2
Subnet-255.255.255.0
Default-10.0.0.1

I am trying to use a second computer, but it will not work because more than one computer cannot use the same ip address. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

if you have a router from codetel, it should have an ethernet port and a usb port, install the router, with the driver disk that comes with it, in the second computer and connect it via the usb cable, the router will assign a second IP address (probably 10.0.0.3) automatically through DHCP

You need only manually change the top number on the 2nd puter.
10.0.0.3 will do, or any other 1 or 2 digit number at the end.
eg: 10.0.0.4, 10.0.0.27
