quick travel question

im a student planning on volunteering with an organization (hero holiday) for about 10 days in dr this coming summer. i have a philippine passport, u.s. visa and am a permanent resident cardholder in canada.
do i still need to purchase a tourist card? even though im staying there for only 10 days?

Yes, everyone does unless you have "residency" in the DR. The tourist card is good for 14 days and you can get it at the airport when you land unless it's included in your ticket price.

Yes but it is only $10.00 USD. (was last time for me about 1 year ago)
