I have been wondering if work is still being done on Atlantica? Seemed there was a little bit going on in October but can't find any recent news.

Atlantica's been cancelled

Atlantica's been cancelled and has been for the last 2 years. The developer couldn't find the money. The webiste (a flash version at the original announcement) has been offline for the same period.
That should end the speculation.

It was a project that fell foul of the environmental laws and had land and financial issues.

At least prospective buyers that paid in got their money back via Stewart Title, I heard they paid out US$52 million, no idea if that number is true.
