Actually the hotels do know 95% of the hookers by looking at them. First by their form of dress which is done to attract the attention of "Johns", second by their attitude and who they are with and mostly as it is a small town(s) most of the hotel employees know who are the hookers that work the area and that includes the loop from Cabarete, & Puerto Plata.
"honest" women are also not usually checking into hotels with Gringos frequently double and triple their ages. (Obviously there is the exception)
