Someone mentioned an AA companion ticket special coming up. I have been scanning the AA website and find nothing.
Anyone know about this?

My understanding is it won't go in effect and be promoted until after August 20th.

According to my sources, there is currently no companion ticket special on AA to the Dominican Republic.

In a message posted <A HREF="http://dominican-republic-news.com/board/index.cgi?read=34086">http://dominican-republic-news.com/board/index.cgi?read=34086</A>, Ray Modesto posted about a fare sale possibly starting on Sept. 20 but didn't mention anything in that post about companion specials.

The TWA fare sale he mentioned is the same fare sale at <A HREF="http://www.BocaChicaBeach.net">www.BocaChicaBeach.net</A>, however even though the rules state that sale is for travel through Dec 15, there is an additional rule that states "SEASONS - 05SEP00-03DEC00 FOR EACH TRIP".

Is it AA or TWA?

I thought the sales that ended tomorrow was for TWA? I had contacted Ray and he was the one who told me that there would also be a AA offering but not until August 20th.

Maybe there is something wrong with my browser but I was not able to bring up the information from the link you provided, Jim. I got the banner but the details under "Transportation" did not show. I did a refresh and that didn't fix anything either. I'll check later.

FYI:
TWA sales ends tomorrow 08-04-00.
"For the month of Aug. all cheap fares to SDQ & POP from JFK/EWR is SOLD OUT."

AA will have a special fare starting 08/20/00. Going by a communication directly from , of AA the sale is suppose to be of 30 to 35% off the actual fare. I will give you all more details as soon as I get the final memo from AA.
