Does anyone know what is the best person to see for reasonable priced Internet by satellite. I have seen Hughes net on TV for $400 up front and $59 per month but not available in the DR. Also direct tv is also not available here.

I'm far from being an expert on this, bit I know that the poster "Chris" can tell you everything you want to know about Sat internet and you are correct that there is no legal direct TV here, but a lot of people have Sat TV service by way of larger dishes and "illegal" cards.

Yes, we do the internet satellite stuff, but it is really much more expensive than in the contiguous United States. Kindly send me a pm so that we don't bore the board with all of this, or you may also pm or email the poster Dunhill.
