Tortillas & Cheetos?

I'm coming into the DR tomorrow,but I got a weird request from a friend that lives in Santo Domingo.

He asked me to bring "tortillas, chiles y hot chitos".,.. So, my guess is that there is no place to buy tortillas (corn tortillas), chilis, or flaming hot cheetos in the DR.

I'm flying into POP...any supermakrkets in the area that may sell Flaming Hot Cheetos?

We have Tostitos brand tortilla chips and hot salsa among others in our local supermartket here in Santiago. I'm sure they sell jalapenos too. It may be just the typical opinion that anything from NY is better than one can get here. My wife's sister does this too me all the time when I'm in the States - I just stop by the local super when I get back to the DR and buy her an American brand whatever for her.

Second what Chip said... except I haven't seen the Flaming Hot variety of cheetos...but they do sell regular Cheetos here so maybe I just haven't seen them...
