Depends on who is the executor of your final requests. Who has power of attorney; is it the local family or the expat family? that's your decision before you kick. that can all be arranged through a competent attorney either here or your home country. Somebody has to be able to speak on your behalf when the music stops. I am NOT an attorney. You should consult one.

Burial requires a "nicho" in the local cemetery. Cremation can be done.

You can make arrangements with Blandino in either Santiago or Santo Domingo, and, I think, in Puerto Plata.

NCF= n?mero de comprobante fiscal (tax receipt number). Every receipt issued by a business in the DR should have an NCF number.

RNC = registro nacional de contribuyentes (national tax-payer's registry). Every taxpayer has a number.

Yeah you can be buried anywhere you want, just need two things; a Will and $$$$
