Rio San Juan to Cabarete,Sosua, or Playa Dorada

Hi. I'm planning a trip to the DR and was wondering how far Cabarete, Sosua, and Playa Dorada are from Rio San Juan.

Heading east from Rio San Juan by private car at a reasonable speed...
35 minutes to Cabarete, 15 more to Sosua, 20 more to Playa Dorada.
Counting the time to go thru the towns... about 1 hour and 20 minutes to go the complete distance

Just so the OP does not get confused, You would head WEST from RSJ to Cabarete, Sosua, and POP.

I don't think the road construction is done in Cabarete. It might add time to your commute either way.

I was through there two weeks ago and the construction was still happening.....so it's done?

Road is done (subject to being undone at any time) except for about 1/2km stretch to the east of Cabarete near the police station & yes... go WEST from Rio San Juan! thanks to all for catching my error!
