I read about the mayor that fired employees that only showed up to collect their paycheques. i think it was the village just a short way from sosua.

it seems now she is forced into paying these people..

i admire her for trying to clean up the corruption. it is idiodic to pay people that just have been apointed by someone and not work. this is corruption at the highest level.

the major problem is if this is an issue in a small village, how much more is it in the rest of the country. If the government would only start at their own doorstep to stop the corruption it would help. but it is hard for people to to stop something which they are the most guilty of themselves.
