This is a shot in the dark. I'm looking for a guy called Gilles Lafreniere, from Montreal, Quebec. He left back in 1984 or so to live in the DR. I saw him about a year later when he came for a visit and he said he loved it down there and was going to stay there. At that time he and a friend had set up a sandwich stand on the beach (what beach? I don't know). Then I moved to Vancouver and obviously we lost touch.
If anybody knows him, or knows whether he is still in DR or not, I would appreciate some info. I plan to move there (DR) myself in a few months and it would be nice to see an old friend.
