Greeting all. I'm planning a trip on my next vacations. I'll like to go to Bahia de las Aguilas. My starting point would be Santiago. Which is the best way
to go by land. Road conditions, traveling time, accomodations, and any other information will be greatly appreciated.

Gracias,

Zeus;)

Your guy is kfrancis. He lives down that way. Send him a PM and see how the roads are. My own information is so old it has gray hairs...

I did read today that they are fixing up the bridge to Haina that was damaged last winter.

The road from Santo Domingo to Azua is in good shape but there is lots of constuction between Sancristobal and Bani. All the briges are up and running just some traffic due to construction. After Azua I cant help you because i went up to SanJuan de maguana instead of south toward Barahona. Santiago to Azua about 6 hours depending on traffic, and i would think add another 1:30 to Perdenales I would think. This info is as of last month.
