Hi,
Im trying to find a place in Cabarete to rent with 3-4 bedrooms, wondering whether or not anyone on here has any info that they could send my way.
We're staying from mid june to october/novemeber, and as long as the pricing is reasonable we're most likely get it.

Thanks

Pyza,
Your challenge at this point is probably finding a unit available for that entire time frame on somewhat short notice - I checked with one group that I know rents 3/4 bedroom units & while they are not booked 100% for the entire period, they have bookings in each unit for several weeks during those months.

You might try the following 2 agencies that handle condos in Ocean Dream, Ocean One, and Harmony. They are the only 3/4 bedroom condos "that I know of" near the center of Cabarete.

A little to the west, Ocean Point may have something http://www.oceanpointcabarete.com/condos.php

To the east, maybe Cabarete East Condos... google for that as I don't know a link or if they have 3 bedroom units.

Other place to search if you haven't already... http://www.vrbo.com

Villas that meet your requirements may exist, but I am not familiar with those options.

I believe a poster here, KeithF, has a three bedroom condo available for rent. He advertises, I think, on DR1's real estate page. You could also send him a private message. I have NO idea if the unit would be available the entire time, but you could check with him.

There are allways 3 BR units available in Ocean Dream at that time. Royal Residence has 3 BR units also at a much lower price.

I agree, there will be a lot for rent this period. You will pay a higher price if you book from where you are now than if you come down here and make the reservation. Maybe rent a smaller place for a couple of days, and look around for 2 days? I promise u that u will find something AND u will not end up renting in a location that was not what you were looking for.

Oriole/DR Mpe,
In general, I agree with your assessment that there are almost 'always' 3/4 bedrooms for rent in Cabarete. However, with advance bookings, there are not always long term rentals available because apt's are already committed for certain weeks, especially during high season.

If you want to stick by your advice that the OP can just show up in June & rent something within a couple of days for the next 4 months... that's fine. I can't, however, say that I agree with you.

Regarding the OD 3 bedrooms, before posting I checked with someone that I know has three 3 bedroom units. They're booked for certain weeks during the period & unavailable long term during that period. That's at least 3 out of the 12 units that are not available.

KeithF's apartment might be. his link http://www.royalresidence.org
