Cable out in Cabarete?

Hi all. Not sure if I should post this in Living or North Coast so sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

Question: Does anyone else in Cabarete have problems with their cable tonight? It seems ours has been out for about the past hour and with a new TV - we can't figure out if we changed a setting or if it's the cable company having trouble. (techies we are not)

Any input is appreciated!

Thanks for the reply, DavidZ. I've been playing with the TV ever since, thinking I changed a setting (which I may have in addition to the cable being out). Have I mentioned I hate "smart" electronics? :)

Would you mind dropping a note on this thread or a PM if and when your cable finally does come back? Then I'll at least know if I need to enlist the TV help desk. (ugh)

Thanks for the update. My horror at having to now screw with the TV settings was somewhat lessened by the chuckle I got from your observation. You're right - not much worth watching. Especially since we gave up CNN from candidate-overload. :)

Off to see how long my patience will last with the TV.....
