Not really.
I have never used them in the past, as we have ways of checking out how good or bad a vehicle is, history or not, although it can be a bonus.
A series of circumstance led me to pay for CarFax, but it was wasted money for me, but might not be for someone who has less resources than we do, for checking cars.
