SPAM, but interesting SPAM...Berklee is a music school in Boston, right?? Or is it a takeoff on the school's name??

Pablo, the percussionist was the owner of the now defunct "Drums" music school that used to be near the Materno Infantil in Santiago.

He earned a full schallarship to Berkley based on his drumming abilities and did his thesis on how to translate traditional Dominican rythms (which are traditionally played on hand percussion instruments) on a rock or jazz drum kit.

He is widely considered one of the better Dominican Drummers, and many local musicians are intimidated to play with him because he's just "too good".

JLG graduated from Berklee, as did Henry Jimenez, who is widely credited with reviving the career of Milly Quezada.
