can a MILITARY (ARMY) deserter get citizenship and not be EXTRADITED back to AMERICA?

Hi, I am a ARMY (military) deserter. I would like to know if the LAWS of DR say i can stay there. i know they DO extradite for certain crimes but as for a military crime some places dont . if anyone knows anything please let me know? email me

Man, I wish it could be so. Even in Canada these days you're not assured of an easy ride, since the peace and prosperity agreement hit the shores of the Canadians, the US and the Mexicans. I hope you deserted for the right reasons. If not, may god have mercy on your soul. If so, may god have a little more mercy. Anyway this is not DR related. Go cry somewhere else.
