Are you aware of the fact Las Galeras and Las Terrenas are in opposite sides of Samana?

I was hoping that one of the Samana members would see your question and reply.
I'd like to know too, for future reference.
I would be surprised to find out that there is no public transport at all, after dark, but it could be.
I believe that there is a law that the guaguas cannot run after dark, thank God.
They're crazy and dangerous enough in the daytime.
Around here, we have public cars that run all night.
Here's hoping you get your response soon.

The trip from Las Terenas to Samana takes about 45 minutes by private car. From Samana to Las Galeras its another 30 minutes or so. Gua guas do stop running around dark, but I'm not sure exactly what time. To pick up a gua gua simply stand on the malecon and wait for one to pass, pickup trucks as well as mini busses.
