Which is the best website where to find the best fare for hotels and resorts in DR???? I know bookit.com...what else?

Where are you travelling from - we are all based in different countries - different sites apply.....

So, you mean that there are different prices according to the country where are you leaving from???? I am travelling from Europe and I already booked a resort in Punta Cana/Bavaro on bookit.com for a really reasonable price (dollars are less valued than euros nowadays...). Any other options for good deals especially for resorts in La Romana area???

it depends if you are looking for hotel only or a full package including flight, hotel & transfers.

a good sight to look for hotel only would be...

these are in Canadian $$ but sell great all inclusive rates for hotel only.

ex.

$538.12 incl tax in US $$.

I am not sure what sites are good if you are looking for a full package departing from Europe.

If you are traveling out of Canada.......I live in the Toronto/Niagara area...

I have had many flights to POP and Cuba for under $100 plus taxes..

They also have a last minute area for all-inclusives and such..

I use them all the time and tickets are waiting for you at the airport or via e-mail

Rates on wholesaletravel.com are really GREAT!!! but when I tried to book the resort, filling my personal data in, they asked to me a Canadian address (street, city and Canadian State), but I am from Europe!!! so this means that I cannot make a reservation for the hotel on this website???? It sounds wired!
By the way, now I am afraid of the reservation I already made on bookit.com: I got the mail of confirmation, they did not ask the street address and country to me, but I don't know what to think...

are you able to call wholesaletravel directly?

I ask because usually the tickets are sent by email confirmation and it may just be the online format that is stopping you from booking with them.

It might be something you need to do over the phone instead of online.

In canada we have many sites like wholesaletravel and you can call always call directly to their offices to make your reservation over the phone.

Hi, I'm landing in PUJ at 8pm on December 15th and plan to rent a car at the airport and drive to Santo Domingo the next morning.
Problem - the airport car rental companys close at 6pm and I can't find a small hotel near the airport for the night...

Any ideas will be most appreciated.

why dont you offer one of the employees $20.00 to stay late and wait for you.If not look for another company that will.
