Hello!

After a very short two and a half years, we have to leave this sunny isle and head back to my husband's home country, Japan, and we're thinking about how to transport all our belongings. We're planning on selling the car and all the household goods (let me know if you're looking for anything), but we do have things like books, photos and various souvenirs from our travels that we would like to take with us. It wouldn't need to be a very big container, but we have too much stuff, both in volume and weight, to take on the airplane with us.

I've found lots of threads on sending goods TO the Dominican Republic, but nothing on sending things OUT of the country. Do any DR1 members have any experience of this? Do you know of any reliable shipping companies that could do this? I don't expect anyone has experience of sending things to Japan, but any advice in general would be very welcome. We're in Santo Domingo, so obviously a company on the south of the island would be better.

Thanks in advance for your help!
