Selling DR car while living in US

I recently moved back to the US & am sellling my car in the DR (Bavaro area). I have qualified buyers from the US but am not sure how to transfer the title to them. I have the original title in my name- what to do next? Can I just sign the back & send it to them? Is there more paperwork involved? Any helpful answers would be appreciated!

I am sure there are others here on DR1 that are more expert at this than me, but for the sake of a few dollars, I would suggest you speak to a lawyer here in the DR to act for you or at least advise you in the sale because I am sure there must be something you need to do in the transferring of ownership in order to protect yourself. The Moderator of the Legal Forum here on DR1 is Fabio Guzman and his firm has offices all over the DR.

Just signing and sending the ownership does not sound like a good idea.
