Santo Domingo .- Starting on Monday 28 Diariolibre.com will have a new section in English so that the countries with readers in that language can have access to local and international news.

DL English will be a major compend of information that are published in the print edition of Diario Libre.

Every day Diariolibre.com is visited by people of English-speaking countries, which now will have the opportunity to read Dominican and world news in their own language.
Diariolibre.com now becomes the first mayor digital dominican newspaper with a section in English.
Diariolibre.com will have a section in english - DiarioLibre.com

Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing what they cover. News in the DR can be very interesting, you can have the same story covered by 4-5 newspapers and they all end up with different facts, figures and slants :)

Looks good.
Maybe now some one will be giving Dominican Today some competition.

When will the other periodicals begin to publish in English???

They will be publishing the front-page stories, usually 5 or 6 stories.

As I understand it this is an experiment, so good for them...
