Has anyone stayed here? What did you think? We're only staying for two days, 8/12-8/14. Any other resorts in Puerto Plata in the $75 pp/pn range in Puerto Plata to recommend?

just got back from a week's stay at Riu Bachata...it's ok, nothing special, I would not stay again, but if is only for two days , then you'll be fine

A friend of mine (non-demanding person) stayed there ten days and says - OK. Their strenghth now - low prices. Too far from real night life though.
