Does anyone know specifics about the ferry between Sabana de la Mar and Samana. I have been to Samana many many times and don't know myself. Can you take a motorcycle or car? Is it just a people ferry? Everyday? Thanks much for any info Kozy

I believe it is just a people ferry. According to an old travel book, departures from Samana to Sabana de la Mar are at 11 and 3 and tickets cost appr. US$2.45. The crossing should take about 1 1/2 hrs.
