where are you going? - donde vas?
are you dominican? - eres dominicano(a)?
im going over my cousins house later - voy a la casa de mi primo(a) luego
do you know her - la conoces?
police was chasin me - la policia me estaba persiguiendo
are you going to class - estas yendo a clase?

    Default Urban street slang-

For where are you going? it should be ¿Adónde vas? - Just wondering if you have ever heard ¿dónde vas?- I would be surprised if you did.

    Dónde = where
Adónde = where (to) to show movement

A common error heard by many Spanish speakers is the the usage of Adónde when there's no movement. For example, I always hear phrases like ¿Adónde está mi libro? instead of ¿dónde está mi libro? or ¿Adónde está Juan? instead the correct form ¿Dónde está Juan? This crosses all boundaries poor speakers and those who speak well alike.

Here's an excerpt from the dictionary:

    adónde
adv. interrog. l. A qué lugar. En forma directa: ¿adónde vais? En forma indirecta: decidnos adónde vais. Es incorrecto escribirlo separado: a dónde

dónde adv. interrog. Equivale a preguntar por el lugar en el que se lleva a cabo una acción, o en el que está algo o alguien: ¿dónde dejaste la chaqueta?

Depending on how urban you are chileando has developed from the surge of reggaetón in PR and is heard in NYC among Puerto Ricans and Dominicans.

-Estoy chileando- this is a prime example of modern day Spanish and the urban street slang of our age (time). You will simply hear aquí chileando

Yes, I have heard it. And yes, the correct expression would be "adónde"

We don't use chilieando in the DR, therefore I like to avoid things that may not be understood. We might use hangeando here though (hanging out), but again it might not be understood in other places. Thus, I prefer to use a more conservative word.

    Default que lo que e'

the OP was obviously looking for "dominican slang" not the Spanish Dictionary definition. Dominicans don't say everything properly and if you want to fit in a little, you should do as dominicans do. But, I don't think the OP was looking to become a Spanish teacher.

Is proper English too much to ask for?

I say DR1 implement a writing test in order to post. If you can't spell the word "the" correctly you will not be allowed to post.
