Looking for some general info about Rio San Juan .I have looked it up ,it does not seem a very touristy place? What would you all reccomend doing/seeing while in Rio San Juan?
Go into the town and take the laguna gri gri boat tour... Also, next to the Golf Course is an Indian Palace belonging to a Dr. Belagi (sp?) Im not sure if it's open to the public, but if it is, it's wprth a look...it's pretty cool. Also, very close to there (heading back towards Cabarete) is a huge painting of The Virgin Mary on the base of a cliff...you can see it/access it from the main highway.
