I was there in 1999. I was in the US consulate.
My stay was brief, I was only there for 4 months.I got to go
out of Belgrade on occation.The country side is very nice there.
The people are friendly and very interesting.
In answer to your question,I came to the US as a child
therefore I din't have much of a choice. Most of my growing up
was here in the US, but I travelled back to the Dominican Rep.
on my vacations. I hope to here from you again...

complain. Because of my job I do travel quite alot. Being in the military can be very rewarding in that aspect. In the last three years I have been to seventeen different countries. When I get back from my Thanksgiving vacation, I will go to Hawaii for a couple of weeks, that I hope will be fun. With all of my travels just maybe I will run in to you. At least I am hoping. Because of your proffesion maybe you have also travelled.If so tell me were you have been, so we can compare. If there is another way of us communicating please let me know , I have found out that because I am in a military installation in-coming personal e-mail from abroad is not possible (sorry). Well, I must run now (literally!!) so I'll write to you soon.

To travel that much in your age is quite extraordinary, or maybe just for myself. As you know we could not travel that much in the past 10 years, because we were under sanctions, and we could not get visas as others. Despite the fact that I am a journalist I did not have a chance to travel professionally abroad, my news agency has a dozens corespondents from abroad but they all are much elder than me. I have only been in Greece (about 15 times),Hungary, Austria, and of course in ex-YU republics which are now the states, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia.
