For all,

If you are using Codetel DNS 196.3.81.5 or 196.3.81.132 they will be shutting down.

Change to 200.88.127.23

What??? how do you know this ? the 200...... numbers are for other ares in the DR ?? South and east ??

I agree 100% with SKY on this! You'll be better served a and won't have to worry about Codetel's occasional DNS problems.

If you are using the old DNS 196.3.81.5 or 132 then yes.
The guys are right, use OpenDNS or just change the numbers.

Wouldn't the "auto find default" function find the DNS numbers?

Track, I use both .5 and .132 as primary and alternate. If I use the 200 one as primary what is the recommended alternate. Thanks and thanks for the heads up on this. Phil

Just follow the directions in the above link to change your DNS numbers.

I don't know the alternatives, but you could also use Tricom DNS under a Codetel Line or even OneMax or WindTelecom, or any public DNS.
