this case is a good lesson to all foreigners in this country, and what can happen when you get into an argument with the wrong person.

Indeed. I appreciate there is much we won't know about this case until it is over but there have been a number of instances over the years, all of which have been good learning material. I wonder if there should be a thread dedicated to such lessons? If there was, I would suggest doing a search of the archives for Stuart Ratner and linking that material also.
