Rob,

is it really necessary to have the chat that late in the evening on a Sunday? This means between 2-5 am Monday morning for European users or in other words chat only for US/DR users. I think, especially on a Sunday it would be possible to have it late afternoon in the US/DR, which would mean late evening in Europe.

Attn: DR1 re: Chat site

Hola Rob, I can't seem to be able to sign in to the chat room. Does it require some special program? Is the site active yet?

What is the exact problem...

tell me what error codes you get if any.

Do you have java enabled on your computer?
Does the chat screen pop up when you click the "Access The Chat" link on the schedule page?

Do you know what version browser you are using?

The more info I have, the better I can help.

Re: What is the exact problem...

Hola again Rob, Have no idea what the problem is. Have enabled Java, using IE vers 5. However, when I enter Nick Name and hit ENTER, nothing happens. The window is just frozen. No indication either as to whether the program is trying to load or whatever. Maybe, the heavy version would work better from PC at work. Is it possible for you to allow the 2 versions so that chat users can select the appropriate one? Gracias

Try this...

Just hit the button without ticking the box.
Wait a few seconds and it will take you to the chat window.

You can also download IRC, this is the best way, but not for newbies. Info is on the schedule page.

Helen:

I have entered the chat room using AOL dialup @56k, AOL via TCP/IP at whatever, an Apple :-( at 33.6 with no problems and through Road Runner at whatever speed the cable modem is? Maybe your browser settings are off?
