Hi Everyone,

Would like some information on building a property wall. Which is less expensive - caliche or concrete blocks? We need a wall about 1.2 meters high and about 86 meters long and would need a gate in the middle. If anyone has any information on price, timing or builder recommendations that would be great. This is on the Northcoast east of Cabrete.

Believe it or not, the cost of a block / concrete is almost the same as a galvanize chain link fence, but yes link fence is a bit cheaper. Now the block / concrete at the long run is much, much cheaper, specially if they will be next to the ocean. ( I don't understand the galvanize thing in DR ).

Hi Granca & Track,

Thanks so much for the info. We thought caliche would be the least expensive. Appreciate your thoughts on this.
