Though this subject has been discussed before, is there anyone using the Orange/Claro INTERJET service in the Star Hills area near Puerto Plata. Does it work well in this area? What service works best?

The one form Orange is called OrangeNet.
The one from Claro is called Banda Ancha Claro.

I briefly tested the Viva Interjet (here in Las Terrenas), and it gave me a good impression, much better than the Orange or Claro 3G offers... It costs 1800RD$/month... Perfect for someone who either doesn't have access to a regular Codetel landline, or rents on a short-term base...
