Looking for party supply store in Puerto Plata

Hi Everyone in Puerto Plata,

My girlfriend is getting married in Puerto Plata in June. We are looking for a party supply store where we can purchase simple decorations, party supplies such as poppers, sparklers, helium balloons. Can anyone give us pointers as to where we could get our hands on these? As well, are prices reasonable for these? We are planning in doing the set-up ourselves as this will take place at the restaurant Escape Del Mar on the Malecon. Any suggestions would be welcome!

There are two I know of:


  • On Antera Mota about two or three blocks East of it's intersection with Separacion (the one which runs along the East border of the Central Park).
  • On Villa Nueva, somewhere in between J. F. Kennedy and Duarte.
The first one HAS a Helium tank, the second one is somewhat more "modern".

The one on Antera Mota is across from Cedu Comp if that helps.

Yes, prices are reasonable. Party decorations are a big thing here!
