Anyone know where I can send a money order in Santiago? I'm sending something to the DR Consulate in NYC and they requested a money order as payment, which is something I have no experience with.

I went to Banco Popular, Santa Cruz, ScotiaBank, Ban Reservas and Vimena/Western Union, and they all said they don't do them. Has anyone ever sent one?

Your best bet would be to have someone in the US send it for you.

Go to Vimenca they represent Western Union here in DR, you can send Money Order with them.

Check yellow pages for the phone numbers and better address.

Here is:

Agente de Cambios Vimenca, S.A.
Av A Lincoln 306, Santiago
(809) 583-0773

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. The Consulate told me I need someone to bring the documents in person, so I'll just send them to my father and have him do a money order there. Thanks again!
