In Feb., 2008, I bought an Alcatel phone at the Orange Shop in Fruisia. I used it during my stay in Bavaro.

I have not used it since I returned home in March.

I believe the SIM card expires after so long with no use, am I correct?

I was under the impression that when I return in January 2009, I just have to buy a new SIM card for about $10. and the phone will still work. Am I correct on this?

Also, will I still have my same phone #?

You need to activate your old SIM or buy a new one and get it activated and put it in your phone. You WILL NOT have the same phone number.

60 days, possibly a little longer.

yes, $RD290, and includes $RD100 minutes of talk time.

Also, will I still have my same phone #?

No, but it is possible if the old number was not reassigned.
